Erin (Hickey) Zacholski, Pharm.D., earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from James Madison University in 2013, followed by a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy in 2017. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy and PGY-2 Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy residencies at the University of Kentucky HealthCare in Lexington, KY.
In 2019, Zacholski joined the VCU School of Pharmacy faculty, where she leads hematology/oncology curricular content, teaches students in the classroom, and precepts students and residents in clinic. She practices pharmacy as a Clinical Oncology Pharmacy Specialist at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center. At Massey, she sub-specializes in the care of patients with gynecologic malignancies, providing patient and health care team education, chemotherapy management and supportive care, and strives for the enrichment of patient care. She also enjoys conducting scholarship to improve the care of oncology patients and preparing learners for care for patients with cancer.
Zacholski is an active member of Hematology Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA), has served as the ACCP Hematology/Oncology Practice and Research Network (PRN) Chair and Co-Chaired a subcommittee of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) Education Committee.
