Lauren Grecheck Pamulapati, Pharm.D., is an associate professor of Ambulatory Care and Director of Continuing Education at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Pharmacy in Richmond, VA, with a clinical practice site at a family medicine clinic within VCU Health. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from VCU School of Pharmacy before completing a PGY1 residency at the University of Colorado Hospital and a PGY2 ambulatory care residency at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Within her clinical practice site, she provides chronic disease state management with a focus on diabetes under a collaborative practice agreement, while also precepting pharmacy students. Within the school, she teaches and co-coordinates the endocrinology module, as well as two elective courses, a residency & fellowship preparatory elective and academic elective. Pamulapati also serves as the Coordinator for the VCU Teaching & Learning Certificate for area residency programs. She has presented at numerous conferences regarding diabetes management and residency preparation, published articles related to ambulatory care practice and teaching, and has developed Continuing Education programs for the American Diabetes Association. Her professional and research interests include diabetes management, practice advancement, post-graduate training for pharmacy students, and scholarship of teaching and learning.
