Malgorzata Dukat, Ph.D., conducts research focused on central nervous system agents with emphasis on novel mechanisms in pain, depression, and drug abuse treatment. Tools employed: classical (synthesis of receptor-selective ligands) and computational (modeling of neurotransmitter receptors, QSAR studies) medicinal chemistry, as well as pharmacology (animal behavioral assays). She is author/co-author of 135 scientific publications, 16 book chapters, 10 patents, 161 abstracts and posters, and 29 invited talks presented at national and international meetings, was elected (2015) a Kosciuszko Eminent Scientist, and has an overall Scopus h-index of 33.
