Reunion Information - Class Parties & Giving Initiatives

Class of 1964:

Class of 1964

Giving Initiative

Make a gift in honor of your class to the Pharmacy Annual Fund.

Class of 1969:

Class of 1969

Giving Initiative

Make a gift in honor of your class project, new signage for Smith lobby. The lobby signage in Smith has not been updated in decades. What could be a striking emblem for the School is instead disregarded, underutilized space. A replacement to the signage would not only refresh the entire lobby, but also provide visitors and students with a photo backdrop they can use to create School of Pharmacy memories. A class gift of $3,500 would cover the cost to update the interior signage with correct branding and provide a much-needed photo backdrop for visitors and students.

The new signage will also recognize the class of 1969 for their contributions.

Class of 1979:

Cl;ass of 1979

Giving Initiative

The newly established Student Success and Emergency Fund will promote student success when a student faces a crisis that threatens their standing (i.e. death in the family, parent loses a job, medical emergency, etc.). The Office of Student Services will evaluate these cases individually and approve funding when appropriate. For many of these students, a comparably small amount of money can mean the difference between completing their education and dropping out. By focusing your class giving on this fund, your class will be providing life-changing assistance. Gifts and pledges totaling $16,000 have already been secured. In order to reach the minimum endowment level of $25,000 the Student Success and Emergency Fund needs at least $9,000 in additional funding.

Class of 2009:

Class of 2009

Giving Initiative

The Class of 2009 has already established a scholarship that awards annually based on financial need and academic merit. In 2018, this fund awarded $715 to a School of Pharmacy student. A class gift of $8,000+ would bring the Class of 2009's scholarship to the minimum endowment level of $25,000 and produce a substantial annual scholarship.
