We are the oldest pharmacy school in Virginia, tracing our roots back to 1898. Our primary teaching facilities are on the Medical College of Virginia Campus in Richmond, the state capital, along with four other health sciences schools and a major health center with several hospitals and clinics that will offer you greater opportunities for hands-on patient care. We partner with seven community organizations that welcome student pharmacists who are interested in areas such as geriatrics, cardiology, ambulatory care and underserved communities. And we’re centrally located with easy access to the mountains, the beach, Washington, D.C., and Colonial Williamsburg.
To apply for fall admission to our Pharm.D. program, you must apply online with PharmCAS and submit three letters of reference via PharmCAS. If you have completed at least two years of college course work, we recommend that you submit your application materials as early as possible. You do not have to have completed all prerequisites or have taken the Pharmacy College Admission Test before applying, although you must do both before entering the program.
